The largest continent with 60% of the earth's population; it is joined to Europe on the west to form Eurasia; it is the site of some of the world's earliest civilizations the nations of the Asian continent collectively. China, Hong Kong, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Macao, Mongolian People's Republic, Taiwan, Tibet... Asia is the largest continent. More than half the people in the world live in Asia. The major rivers in Asia are the Yellow River, the Yangtze, the Ganges, and the Mekong. The highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest, is located in Asia’s Himalayan Mountains.
